Policies
What we collect, why, who processes it, and how to ask us to change or remove it.
This policy covers medequipdepot.com, our order management system, and the customer portal at myportal.medequipdepot.com.

We collect personal information you give us and information generated as you use the site. Personal information means information that identifies you, such as your name, business email address, business telephone number, billing and shipping addresses, and the organization you buy for. We also hold order records, quote records, invoices, and payment status.
We use that information to quote, process, fulfill, ship, invoice, and support your order, to operate your account and the customer portal, to send transactional and product updates regarding your orders and accounts, and to meet our legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations.
We also collect aggregate information about how the site is used, which is not tied to an identified individual and is used to improve the site.
We do not sell buyer data and we do not license it to third parties.
We operate on established commercial platforms rather than custom infrastructure. The following applications process information on our behalf, each under its own privacy policy:
A current list of these providers, with the categories of data each one handles, is available on request for buyers who need it for a vendor file.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights over the personal information we hold about you, including the right to ask what we hold, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to opt out of marketing.
To make a request, write to privacy@medequipdepot.com and tell us what you want us to do. We will confirm receipt and tell you what we can act on. We do not require you to create an account in order to make a request.
Every marketing message carries an unsubscribe link and a preference center, allowing you to manage your communication preferences or opt out at any time.
Records connected to an order, an invoice, or a tax obligation are kept for the periods those obligations require, and a deletion request cannot remove them before then.
The website, the order management system, and the customer portal are served over HTTPS using current TLS encryption, which protects information in transit between your browser and the service.
Access to buyer and order records is role-based and limited to personnel whose duties require it. Card payment details entered at checkout are handled by our payment processor and are not written to our servers or order records.
Our full statement of security controls, written for procurement and vendor review, is on the Security and Data Protection page.
Email may not provide end-to-end encryption, and we cannot guarantee the privacy of information sent this way. Please do not send payment card numbers by email. Ask us for a secure payment link instead, or call us on (800) 598-6960.
We use cookies and similar tags to keep your cart and session working, to remember your preferences, and to understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Analytics cookies tell us which pages are used and where visitors have difficulty, in aggregate.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies will affect how parts of the site work, including the cart and the customer portal.
This site links to manufacturer sites, financing partners, and other third parties. Their privacy practices are their own and this policy does not cover them. We suggest reading the privacy policy of any site you go on to use.
We update this policy as our practices and our obligations change. The revision date at the foot of this page shows when it was last changed. Where a change is significant we will say so on the site.
